How I Start My Small Business

Apr-5-2008 By admin

Today on the afternoon, I speed up my walk after working time with a big hope that I get feedback letter from one company that opening a vacancy for technical position. I grab my mailbox cover and I take a letter with white envelope. The logo on the envelope makes me happy because I already waiting this letter for several weeks. I sent my application around 2 months ago for a vacancy in the international sport equipment brand. I do this because I have a big dream someday I can speed up my career starting one step level ahead from my current job position and my big goal is I can prepare to start my small business because I know if I can get the new job position I will have more to do side jobs even without disturb my primary job.

Carefully I open the letter then I read slowly…Oh my God, I’m failed! I’m so sad because I can’t reach yet my expectation. I sit and try to think harder how to find another way for starting my side jobs. After around 10 minutes suddenly I get brilliant idea, why I don’t try to start business as reseller of prepaid cellular voucher? Yes that is great idea because now everyone need prepaid voucher and I can’t do this jobs together with my ordinary jobs. I start to calculate everything needed and finally I found a number of sum money that I have to prepare especially to buy the voucher by cash and the possibility of profits on every month. I think the profit is not enough good if I just use my saving fund so I decide to find my friend to borrow some money.

I go to my friend’s house using motorcycle and in 5 minutes I already stand in front of his gate. I touch the bell then the ring is singing. Beside the bell I see there is a mailbox from cooper material with classic style and color. Less than a minute my friend, Mochi, already opens the gate and let me entering his house. I say to him that his mailbox is good and look expensive. It’s not like ordinary mailboxes that offered in the shop as long as I know. He answer that mailbox is bought from a special shop and it has good quality for security reason. He said “I work from home and some of my document sent to me using post service so I shall have a good mailbox to prevent my document lost. I agree with his opinion and then start some conversation with him about his online business. He explains his general job and some reason why he resign from his previous job then begin new business by his self. After his story it’s my turn to explain my expectation borrowing some money to start my side jobs and some compensation for him. He is very interesting with my business and agrees to borrow some money to support my business then finally I get the money then I say good bye to him and go home with very happy. Tomorrow I will start to build my own business.
