Intrepid
Historically, entrepreneurs have been seen as big risk-takers. Even today, I see and hear people describe a successful entrepreneur as having “rolled the dice” or “bet the ranch.” Frankly, the characterization simply isn’t true. Entrepreneurs may take more financial risk than other occupations, but business owners really don’t dwell on that. For them, the risk is a calculated one. Most view their efforts as highly logical, not whimsical. They have experience, knowledge, and confidence on their side, not Lady Luck.
